I have reinstalled Outlook and it did not solve the problem. In working with the other fix here is where I am at: Working with the Registry Editor the policies folder just has Default in it. Images attached. I have also read somewhere that it may require a full fix of Windows 10 using my image file.

Notifications worked immediately. I copied off the shortcuts from my Start menu which were now in the Start menu instead of a folder under the Start menu and sent them to IT. Overall, I am disappointed with Microsoft and Windows 10 – particularly in a corporate environment. We ran Windows 7 until the wheels fell off, without any issue. We didn’t have Creators Edition or any other such nonsense, and Windows 7 was rock solid and did what it was intended to do.

In reply to Palcouk’s post on April 19, Seems like a pretty glaring oversight on MS part. I’m using Windows 10 Pro. MSO Hopefully someone has an answer for this. This is my issue exactly. Although you seem to remember the notifications being actionable at one point in time. Are you sure you’re not confusing it with the Mail app provided by windows 10? Also thanks for posting.
I’m not sure how to get a reply from a Microsoft Team Member here. Their phone support was unable to help me, and could not confirm or deny that the notifications should or should not, be actionable. Watch a minute video about pop-up alerts notifications.
